This is a very influential book, satirising the Russian Revolution of 1917 through a story about animals. It shows the dangers of Communism, through the rule of the pigs, and exploitation of other animals. Though this seems a very simple book, it has more overarching messages and allegories than are immediately apparent.

I just finished this book. It's a really easy, quick read. This book is about a bunch of farm animals who take over their farm, and start their own form of government. There are coups, hierarchy amongst the animals, and rebellion. It's a classic, and highly recommended!
